IN THE DARKEST HOURS
There will always be two most peculiar representations in the universe. The ones that can't be avoided and when they show, the world stands out in one aspect and hides in the other. The darkest hours of the universe is not just the absence or presence of light, it's also a representation of the universe's ability to provide or inability to provide, it's the ability of the world to say no and accept other circumstances, to encourage and discourage, to enhance hope and take it away and the many more most common in our environments and communities.
The darkness of the world can be traced back to numerous episodes and on these occasions, the world unanimously declared that, never again. There are many examples related to the dark days. The sayings of the wise became that of immense silence and all magnificent poets of the globe reduced their soul soothing words to just a sentence or two. These were days we set out to celebrate but eventually returned with all the innumerable gifts that makes every celebration colourful. That which was intended to arouse emotions and skyrocket adrenaline was reduced to tears. The bravest of humanity lost the energy to propell the boat and rather allowed the waves to carry us through. As we taught and yearned for a glimpse of light one more time, only the faithful maintained a regular heartbeat.
Darkness is but for while; they said. The light that follows gives more hope and assurance ever after. We can't say and should never be certain that because we cherish and hope for more light, darkness should and must be relegated to the background. The old cherish the dark as the light because, darkness gives them the opportunity to truly get tested and really come to the realization of their true potential. The darkness 0f people with lots of friends come and go smoothly, thus they loose the true meaning of actually being in the dark. For the most prudent, they wrestle with their darkness alone and by this we realise what it means to be in company.
