Chapter 1 - The Nightmare
It is a winter night. Today seem to be a lot cold than any other day. What am I doing? Oh! Right I came out to shop some groceries. There was a supermarket near my apartment around 500 meters. It is a very busy road out here. Huh? I think I have never seen it empty for even a second. Anyway I guess that's all I need for now. Let's go to the bill counter. (Damon was thinking).
He approached to the bill counter. There was a girl at that section. She is beautiful (Damon is blushing as he moving forward). He has crush on the girl for a long time. She has been working there for 6 months. Not a day goes when Damon doesn't think of asking her out but he is scaredy cat. So he doesn't ask her out but today he came for the sole purpose and with strong will to ask her out that's why he came at the time when her shift ends. He reached the counter. The conversation between them starts.
Susan(Her name) : Looks like you bought a lot of things today, Damon
Damon : Yeah (with nervousness in his voice). I was out of everything so I bought whatever I could find.
Susan : Oh okay but you should keep some of things stacked just for emergency. How are you going to pay?
Damon : I will take into consideration. By Cash.
When will your shift end? - Damon asked
Susan : At 10. Why?
Damon : Nothing. Just Asking.
Susan : Okay done here are your groceries. Looks like it's 10. I should get going. Wait let me get my things and then we will head out.
Damon : Okay. ( This is the only chance I have. I have to ask her out. ) Damon is thinking.
Susan : I am done. Thanks for waiting. Let's go.
And they head out of the store. Susan's apartment is on the way of Damon's apartment. Susan's apartment has arrived. It is just across the road.
Susan : That's my stop. Thanks for walking me home. (She starts go to her appartment).
Damon calls her out.
Damon: Susan! Will you go out me?
Susan: What?
As she said that she was just crossing the road. And in that split second a car struck her. Damon screams!!
Damon: Susan!!!?
And he wakes up screaming her name. Takes a moment to realize that that was a dream.
