Susan looked back at the green car, watching the driver unsuccessfully try and turn into the skid. But the lumbering hulk of metal had lost its traction and spinned off the road crashing into an abandoned bus. It exploding creating a fireball. Crashing with that amount of arsenal onboard was not going to end well. The midnight sky lit up bright orange, and Susan could feel the heat from the blast.

The blue car gave another burst of acceleration and Susan could still see up ahead a little matter of a smouldering crater to deal with.
