It happened with the dusk
CHAPTER 5
A new day with new hopes i was having coffee in my balcony when i recieved a call from the hospital that the patient has forgotten to take his jacket ,they were talking about my Godfather .After leaving the call i thaught i should pay a visit to the hospital ,maybe i could find something worth knowing to get answers i crave for .As i reached hospital they handed me the jacket but they didnt know anything about him which made me helpless.I took the jacket with me and sat in a taxi ,i began to search through its pockets and i found a electricity bill .I asked the taxi driver to drive me to the address written at the bottom of the bill.After 30 minutes of drive i reached to the address ,it was an old looking house ,broken glasses ,dust coated stairs as if no one lives there.I took trembling steps and knocked at the door although i knew no one is going to answer .I stood standing at the door for a long time and trying to figure out what should i do next .As i was about to leave an old woman living next to the house called me ,and asked me what i was doing there.I told her that i was in search of my godfather and showed her the old picture from my grandma's album .She looked at me gazing for a while and invited me to her house for a tea .I denied first for i was scared but when she said to me that she wana give me something which my godfather owned,i walked in with her.While i having tea she went upstairs and bought me a little box and said to me,"it belongs to you ,i was worried about what to do with it after your godfather gave me this to keep.I opened it and i saw a key inside,i took the key in my hand and asked her ,"what kind of key it is ?".She said ,"it is the key for the house your godfather owned but he didn't return since along time ,now it is yours for you are his family".Holding the key in my hand i got up to take leave .As i stood infront of the house i thaught would it be safe to go inside but i have no other option as i was desprate to know the myestry .I opened the door and entered into the house .It was miserable inside,every thing was hidden beneath dust ,covered with spiderwebs and moving rats.I searched everywhere but found nothing except the room upstairs , i went upstairs opened the door and i was suprised to see a neat and tidy room as if someone was living there .I got goosebumps and many uncanny thaughts began to struk my mind ,it can be a theif for whom it is a perfect hideout ,or something worst than that .The mystery itself became another mystery to me .
