Furthermore.. She was so far from home. Her throat parched. Although there was just a little drop of water. Left in her canteen. Her thirst wouldn't have been quenched. Not even a little bit.
Lost and confused. She had no sense of direction. It was turning dark. There was no sun nor moon to be shown. She knew within her innocent mind. If she couldn't find any shelter. A cold she'll surely catch.
While the wolves howled off in the far off distance. Weary and scared. She only felt better. By the tears dispelled down her beautiful shivering face.
Tired and drained. She felt her footsteps getting heavier. Oh she was so weak. Then she remembered her little brother.
You see he was born only a few days earlier. Her mother was home without her father. He was away at war. Only the town's maiden was there to comfort her.
Well at least that was one worry she had from her mind that was allowed to escape.
Her attention goes to her socks n shoes. They were saturated now too. She was cold. Only knew to keep walkjing. Just wanted to be home. In her feather bed. And laying her head on her pillow.
Her mind started hallucinating now too she thought. She was now hearing her name being called. It was her late grandmothers voice.
The voice it said to her. "Yes you are far from home. But you have to believe. Help will soon come to you." Furthermore she told her...
