Priya: The Driftress
On the first day of April Priya left her house for good. The whole house was upturned to find her but she was not found. The family had no clue as to why she left the house.Only Priya knew the reason for her abandonment. Since young Priya had been a weird child to start with. She had different faces. To her family she was immature daughter but to others she was a mature lady with a cloak of mystery around. She was one of the best in academics and sports whom, everyone admired but also the one, whom her parents were dissatisfied of .Priya was a girl brought up like a boy in aspects of physique and mental health but a girl for the society. So all the Traditional Indian restrictions were partially imposed on her.She suffered due to these. She had the traits of a wolf so valued her freedom more than her life but also couldn't breakup with her family due to her love, filial piety and the responsibilities. But however the day came when she had to depart.
She left the house at 1am in the shelter of darkness. She had to let go of her family to protect them. She ran without looking back.Tears went down her cheeks despite her emotionless composure. She ran down through the familiar streets of Chennai onto finding a unknown late night auto driver. She asked him to drive her to the MGR Chennai Central railway station. During the wait in the signal ,Priya asked him the fare.He said ₹350. Priya asked him for the Google pay number but he had none so she sent a referral through which he registered. So Priya made a good deal by earning back ₹209 out of the ₹350 she had paid to him. She was elevated from her depressed state for a moment. On reaching the railway station, she bid him goodbye and proceeded to her journey. She searched for trains that lead to Uttar Pradesh. Only to find that a train led to Bihar but none led to Uttar Pradesh. So she changed the destination. Priya decided to go to Bihar and study until the 12th exam. She sat on the train with a unreserved ticket in the unreserved compartment. The whole train was in a sweet slumber during her entry. She found a widow side seat at the entrance and made herself comfortable there. She was tightly gripping the blades in her palms during her sleep. I Don't know what she feared or what she was wary off. She neither bought nor ate food. For she didn't look in need of it either. She drank down quite a quantity of water during the two day journey. While the fellow travellers wondered how she sustained, she was liesurely enjoying the journey like no one else. When she reached Bihar , she got down on the outskirts of the state. A lawless village named Kaari. She had decided to stay there till her graduation.
Okay, stop it Manna. You have got to help me through this trouble.
