We were now the only ones left, me and my four friends, Emma, Kris, Lucy and Peter. We ran as fast as we could, looking for a place to hide. It was almost dark and we still had not found a place to hide. Soon those blood sucking monsters would be on our trail. we can't afford to loose each other. A few days ago, we didn't have to run around looking for a place to hide. But it all changed on that fateful evening.
We were supposed to go home from school but we decided to go to the school basement out of curiosity. The seniors in our school had told us about a legind about our school. they said that there used to be a boy in our school who was born a vampire. he would wair clothes to cover his whole body from sunlight. But one day, something bad happened. the other kids started bullying him. one time they roped his hood off and the sunlight hurt him. he got angry and bit the neck of the bully. immediately the bully started turning into a vampire. the two were locked in the school basement. Never to see the light of day. We wanted to know if it was true. As much as it frightened us, our curiosity got the better of us. As we stood there staring at the door to the basement, I said"are you guys ready? " and they nodded in unison. I grabbed the handle to the door and used the key we had gotten in the principle's office to open the door. I pushed the door open and we could only see darkness. I reached for the switch and turned on the lights. we walked in and went down the wooden stairs. the stairs made this cracking sounds as if to tell us how old they were. we turned to the left and were surprised to see another door. "could the monsters be in there?" I thought to myself. I looked at my friends then looked back at the door. I reached out for the handle and...
