THE LETTER GUY
December 20, first rays of sun darting through the window fell on his pale face, jumping in his hair those Millions of photons tingling his eyes woke him up. Gregory. You won't find him the way he usually used to be. Today his eyes were blodded, his soul was listless. He stood up and walked to the window, from there he could see the birds floating in the air. The bright ball had just came up adding beauty to the mountains. He sat in the window, took a deep breath and released it with a hush, "hope so I could get it done". He walked down the stairs and got busy in making himself ready for the school. He played with his breakfast squeezing the sandwich and left his house and the sandwich still stood there in the plate. He was walking down the 17th Street to his stop where bus picked him. His lively body which used to be in motion was out of energy, head down looking at his feet he went towards his school. He was about to reach the school which was now few metres away he suddenly remembered the letter. The letter he wrote for Belle. We needa go back in time to know about the letter....
Today the girl Greg loved was going to leave the town. He never told her that he had a lot of things and feelings in his heart for her just in fear to lose her. He had decided to give her the letter on which he had poured his heart yesternight. He had planned to visit Belle's home after school and give her the letter but he forgot to put the letter in his bag which he had left on his table besides the tears. He was about to run back to home but a sound much familiar to his ears stopped him, yeah it was his school bell and it wasn't a good deal to go back home and get late for school. With no other option left he somehow pushed himself in the same direction and decided to get the letter back from his house after school and then go to her. In class it was just his body, his heart was somewhere else between their memories and the uncertain future. His eyes were staring at the clock and his ears were desperate to hear the final bell. And it was, finally at 2:30 the bell rang his heart pounded as hepis legs moved in swiftly down the corridor. In the locker room he pushed his way through the crowd until Roger the beast put his foot in those of Greg's through the scuffling feets and Greg was down on floor. Everyone was laughing at poor little guy but he had only one thing in his mind 'Belle'. He ran down the noisy street towards his house. He climbed to his room threw the bag on bed and grabbed the letter. He got onto his bicycle and rode it as fast as he could. He was out of his mind and he broke the signal on the Jacob street. He could just see Belle nothing else. Over the bridge, crossing the mountain finally he reached the Ralph street, block 4-G Belle's home. There was silence around there, he opened the gate an pushed open it with squeak. He knocked the door twice no response. He pressed the button on left wall of door so bell would make them aware of him but there wasn't any reply. He went to the backyard, the wall of fine glass gave whole vision of what was inside, 'empty'. Now he knew she was gone, forever. He sat on the bench , there was deep silence. There were just the charming sounds of chimes but were not capable to hold his falling soul. Suddenly something struck his mind he ran to his bicycle and was back on the way to mountain. He had single hope left, he wished he could meet her at the junction in the mountains. He rode bicycle with more speed than earlier praying God. He reached the junction, the beautiful junction, surrounded by cherry blossom trees.
