The darkness of abuse creates a black hole of damage. The damage remains even as they heal, even after they have risen above.
The soul can only patch its self back together piece by piece , day by day. Taking fragments of hope, fragments of friendships and fragments of love; piecing them together creating the beautiful collage covering the darkness and showing the light. A light to shine it's beacon for all to see.
