MY LAST (CHAPTER TEN)
Since it was newly opened, a lot of students came, but one bunch of them stole my attention. It's Auiry and the other officers. I don't want them to see me like this. So I wiped my tears and let out a heavy sigh.

The pain that I feel seems to be gone. I don't know why, but I feel a little better.

I tried to walk out when someone was blocking, me, and it was Auiry.

"So you went here, and you didn't take us with you." Her eyebrows are raised.

"Haha, sorry, I just met someone..." I didn't finish talking yet, she had already pulled me to the table.

The other officers who are talking are following us. We were at a rather large table, and they ordered a lot of food. They nailed it right away.

I was surprised when Auiry suddenly gave me her plate and took mine, she had already put food on it.

"Thank you," I said while accepting it at the same time.

She just smiled and mouthed " welcome "

I eat a little because I'm still full, it's just to show some respect to my co-officers. Respect comes first for me, that's why no one holds a grudge against me.

We finished eating, and due to the number of orders, we didn't make it to half. It's really extreme when your companion is very rich.

We are walking back to the stage for the continuation of the program. My colleagues are sharing stories. Auiry also started to open up to them, maybe because we're a team. But this is actually her first time joking with them.

Auiry is standing in front of the crowd, she's on speaker to finally continue the program.

This time, the contest will happen. And before that, there's a presentation of our band. My friends were on stage too, so I came closer.

Drew is into the bass, Topher is into the drums, and Alex is into her piano.

"Where is Trisha Zach?" Why is she not here yet? "What are we going to do?" Topher asked me consecutive questions while we were obviously in trouble.

I looked at them one by one, they're seriously frustrated. We didn't even practice, and Trisha wasn't here yet.

"Let's play what we played last year, I'll just sing Trisha's part.

We didn't have a choice, we couldn't keep the contestants waiting for too long, so we started to play.

Even without Trisha, our presentation was still successful. We received a loud round of applause at the end of our performance.

After our performance, I said goodbye to my friends and even to the officers who were on stage, and went to the classroom. I didn't know what was going on there.

I want to be alone for now, even if just for a moment.
