A typical dark night, and a girl was walking on the road all alone outside of the city. it's normal for shan, she usually walks alone at night. And after few minutes she reaches the bar
Tom : where were you ? i was waiting for like an hour.
Shan : jeez, relax buddy. it's not like your time is so important, so you are getting mad at me for wasting it. 😁
Tom : yeah, go on. make fun as everyone else does.
Shan : oh sorry, i got stuck at work. but tell me about your audition. how did it go?
Tom : uhh, horrible as usual.
Shan : hey, don't lose hope. you will become a big singer one day. trust me.
Tom : yeah, we will see. let's just finish our drinks and go home for now.
both drinks their whiskey and left for their apartment which is 10 minutes away. They live in the same building, in a neighborhood which is considered poor and unsafe. Shan's parents are divorced and she left her home at a young age to persue her dream. she is rough girl since she lived in this neighborhood from the beginning. And Tom is son of a rich marchent but left his home to become a singer, now he spends most of his time auditioning for different companies.
Chapter 1. Big audition and fight
Next morning is just as usual. Shan gets up and makes breakfast for both herself and Tom. she went to his room to find him laying on bed.
Shan : (sigh) he really can't take alcohol. hey wake up.
she wakes him up and they have breakfast and then Shan leaves for work, she is a teacher at an adult school. and Tom is feeling down as usual but he gets his guitar and leaves.
Tom is out on the streets busking, singing his favorite song - a fallen leaf.
he wrote this song for a stranger lover. the night he left his house and came to this little and poor place Lilybloom which is notorious for homicide and drug dealings. he was so afraid and vulernable even a street dog could scare him but then a girl came who saved him from the dogs. he fell in love since that moment even when he didn't actually see her face because of the darkness. but he could never find her again.😁

Stranger : hey, you sing really nice. I can get you an audition at Sunlight labels. here is my card. see you.

Tom : yes , yes , yes. finally. finally an offer from Sunlight labels. I was dying for it.
Robert, Tom's friend was watching him from the corner of the street. he is musician as well and do busking together. he comes to Tom.
Robert : hey, what did that man say to you. and why are you jumping like a monkey.
Tom : oh my God Robert. he was from Sunlight labels and he offered me an audition. my prayers are finally getting answered.
Robert : congrats bro.
Robert left and Tom came home to get ready for the audition. he wore his lucky shoes which his mother gave him before she died. and he happily went for the audition.

Tom : hi, I am here for the audition. A man from your company gave me this card.
The receptionist : oh, ok go inside. room no. 3

The man : we are sorry man. we found someone better. you can go. your audition is cancelled.

Tom punches Robert, and they fight. staff comes to get them off each other.
Robert : hey, no one is a friend. ok we are all here for money and success. and I can do anything for that.
Tom : you dirty dog. I TRUSTED YOU.
Tom punches him again. but security gard throwes him outside.
Tom walks on the road crying and cursing Robert. he thinks about his mother who was so caring for him and then how she left him forever. he thinks about his crual dad who wants to make him a politician in stead of letting him follow his dreams. he thinks about the night he left his house and came to Lilybloom. and that kind girl who saved him. then he thinks about Shan who is his biggest support and his best friend. he immediately remembered that it's dinner time and she is waiting for him. so he walks towards home.
Tom came home pouting and threw his guitar on the bed. Shan rolled her eyes and asked him about what happened. and Tom started complaining about everything that happened in his life. suddenly he noticed scars on Shan's hand.
Tom : hey, Shan what happened to your hand ? you are injured.
Shan : (pulling her hand away) oh it's nothing. I am fine. let's just finish dinner.
Tom : why don't you tell me ?
Shan : it's nothing. don't make a big deal. eat.
Tom pouts like a kid. Shan pulls his cheeks to make him laugh.
