(3:17a.m and as usual I'm still awake)
literally after 20 minutes.
"yeah." she replied.

"what took you so long, bit busy I guess."I said.

" yeah.. exactly, remember I told you.. we are heading back home.."from the other side.

I exclaimed.
"you're right,after so long I'm gonna meet my mom and dad."(sign of relief)

"and your best friend?"

I asked intentionally, cause I knew she
would forget.

" who?" she asked .

" your brother... you idiot!"I said irascibly.

" oh gosh..yeah,how can I forget."

"seems like my sis is getting older.. memory loss"
I said in a playful way.

"shut up! now stop it,ok"(tired)

" yeah yeah whatever.."I was least bothered.

" I was about to ask you something and now I remember."

"yeah sure, ask me what you want."
she said deliberately.

"umm.. about whom were you telling me exactly, day before yesterday."
I asked in a cunning way.
"that girl rather..." I mentioned again.

Guess what? I failed to be like James bond. Though my communication skills are good enough but..you know there is always someone better than you. Hence all my efforts to make her speak the truth went in vain this time.
Really what the hell did just happened. Did I ask something wrong. Even if I tried to tease her, she didn't reply. I understood that there's something that she doesn't wanna talk about.That girl..I guess. Did something serious happen.Moreover due to my double edged habit of overthinking thousands of questions started pondering my mind but I wasn't really able get to any conclusion though. So I slept.what else could I've done.
I had set my alarm for 7:30 cause around that time I used to attend my online classess a. But I don't know what to say, I woke up with the continuous sound of notifications which were coming so fast even before I could react. Sometimes I act very lazy and that morning too! I wasn't intending to get off my bed but then the buzz of the notification eventually got my ass. Yeah you heared

"yesterday while packing my stuff I heard some noises from next door but I was so worned out, I just ignored and went to sleep."

"today morning (5:00 am), when I was standing in my balcony just to get some fresh morning air though it was bitterly cold outside, I saw a boy and two girls and though they were wearing masks but from their hair colour I could well recognise them as my nextdoor roommates."

"one of them was helping the boy to escape and the other one was keeping a watch in surroundings"

" but then something really embarrassing happened, I mean not for me for them. I just can't stop laughing haha.. hahaha."

"while the boy was trying to cross the boundary he fell on one of the girl and grabbed her and you know what I mean right...hahahaha"

"what?.. really" I replied.

"yeah, really it happened I Just couldn't believe it"

"kinda awkward though" I said.

"yeah, imagine if something similar happens to us, hell no I'll just wish that the earth eats me..hahahah. I mean yeah we are habituated to stuff like that but then, it's too awkward"
I said as if it's just my daily circumstances,you know.

"and one more thing" she said

"later I asked the two girls when they quietly came in their room in a stealthy manner that what actually happened and for a moment they were shocked because they thought no one's watching them,but then I'm there the truth seeker."

I said Instantly because I woke up just then from my sleep and was not at all Intrested in all her small, useless braggings.

So... I threatened them that I will tell everyone if they don't speak the truth.
Finally they said that he was silvia's(one of them) boyfriend and came to meet her yesterday night but slept with her and in the morning started panicking cause it was too late and hence they were helping him..hahaha"
