Book Review
This Is My First Review. I'm excited to be a part of the #bookstagram community. I hope I'm welcome. ❤️
BOOK TITLE: The Silent Patient
BOOK AUTHOR: Alex Miichaelides
BOOK GENRE: Thriller
BOOK PAGE: 325 Pages
MY REVIEW: 5 of 5 Stars
Every single word imprinted on this page was magical, mysterious and equally enchanting. I have severe anxiety and I felt it so fiercely at the end of this book. I didn't understand why at the time. Why was I so anxious? But as I decided to write this review, it became clearer like the haze has been polished off a glass surface.
The roller coaster I had been forced to go on had left me so stunned and I was acutely confused at the last minute. Confused on why Theo came back and did what he did. Also, how he fooled both I and his colleagues so easily into thinking he was just an over indulged psychotherapist. I would never have believed he had a hand in all that happened to Alicia.
It takes me back that Theo And Alicia were both mentally unstable. To kill Gabriel the way she did and for Theo to induce her to a lifetime of coma and act like it was unlikely that it would be he is awful. Why was he so pressed that she should speak, when he knew it would incriminate him? Was it some sort of mind game or reverse psychology?
Madness should never be taken lightly. Lock up instead of sustaining. Therapy is good, but sometimes we need more than that.
Honesty, I recommend this book for all. It is just perfect.
