THAT FATEFUL DAY
"No! No! It can't be!" I said as I ran back home. I couldn't believe what my friends told me. I was determined to prove them wrong. When I got home, I saw a crowd in my home. I was shocked, I hoped it wasn't as they told me. I went closer to see if I could get a better view. I saw a coffin and I was shocked. "it can't be!" I said as I moved closer to see the body. I was shocked and out of words. I could not believe my eyes. In the coffin was my mother, laying there lifeless. So it was true, my dear mother was gone. I would never see her again. I refused to believe it. last night she was in hospital, and she was fine. My dad came home from the hospital at night and asked my elder sister to go back with her. When I asked to go with them, dad said he would come pick me up in the morning. My dad couldn't lie to me. this couldn't be true. How was I supposed to live without my mother? I was only seven years. I knew nothing. Why would this happen. I was left with my two big sisters, one older brother and my new little sister who was two weeks old. We just have to wait and see what life would bring to our door.
