Chapter II

Across an untouched valley, there lay J. Storm. She knows nothing about what has happened to her and she is still unconscious. No longer is she in a world that she knows, but one that is strange and not seen by any person of particular reason. Her hair has lost the deep chestnut brown it once had and in return she has deep velvet locks that flow to her waist. The eyes that were once a captivating ocean green, have been traded for vibrant fluorescent blue irises that shine like stars and Her tone deaf voice is now a beautiful and soothing song. She began to stir and opened her eyes to see what was before her.
J. Storm was awakened by a cool breeze that rustled the tall grass surrounding her. When she opened her eyes, she saw nothing but dark purple and blue flowers, growing like a vine throughout the tall reeds of grass. She stood up to see what was around her, remembering only blue and white flames that seemed to envelope and prevent her from falling to her death. As she looked towards the west, J. Storm saw a tall, magnificent oak tree. Its leaves were a deep golden yellow and the roots, which were engraved with designs, had small openings where animals were busy building nests and collecting food. Strangely, she did not recognize these animals. There was one squirrel-like mammal that had two antlers and large ears that looked too big for its body. It ran around in frantic circles while chattering phrases such as, “Where is it?” Wait, what? she thought as she took a second look at the creature. What squirrel has antlers and ears like a mule? Not only that, but since when do animals talk? She glanced down at her feet and saw a strange marking on her ankle. It was designed as mystical flower...
