She held on to the fragile branch with a death's grip as the roaring water threatened to drag her away.
She gasped, the bubbling swirls entering her mouth. There was no hope left... she saw her life flashing right in front of her when she was a baby first born from her child hood and she saw her beautiful mother, her mother passed away when she was turned 4 she remembered her mother and remembered how sweet and beautiful she was, she missed her dad but he moved a thousand miles away to be married to someone else….. and she didn’t want any part in that. but what she really needed to be thinking about was how she was going to get out of the water before that fragile branch broke. she was scared she thought she was gonna drown but little did she know all she had to do was reach up and grab the stronger branch and pull herself up. And that’s what she did and she was laying on the cold grass…. she signed and layed there a few more minutes then she mumbled to herself that was a close call… and she got up to walk home she couldn’t wait to get to grandmas and get in her dry clothes and dry bed!!! Life!!!!
