PERCIVAL: The Love Dove.

"The Journey to the End toward Success is always darkest before the Light. Many lose their way just before, but only because those standing there in the Light are too afraid to reach into the Darkness, to pull them the rest of the way through."
The family were indeed heartbroken from this earth shattering news. A dead bird in their midst this whole time? It couldn't be! Yet that was the conclusion that the veteran had given them, and they accepted as they buried the Love Dove under their willow tree in the back yard. A lone leaf fell onto her grave as they left, even though it was only the end of spring. The sun shines brightly, and there was only one cloud in the entire sky; just under it's left eye. Perhaps Ra too, was saddened.
As the children were in the kitchen helping Maggie bake a huckleberry pie, Charles again came in with another surprise. This time it was a bigger box, and he seemed to have trouble controlling whatever was in it. It shook itself right from his hands, and out crawled the cutest creature the kids ever saw. White, furry and excited.
"The shop keeper says her name is Jacy."
And the children sang a fun-filled song for their brand new family friendly furry feline:
Racy Jacy
Furry and Fun
Chasing Ruddy
Under the Sun
See how she Runs
Oh how she Scampers
Hot Cross Buns
Zigzags Hampers
Our furry lil kitty
So sweet and pretty
Can't catch Lil mousy
Round and round looking silly.
THE END
"Tragedy is Painful; but without it, can we ever really know what it's like to be truly Happy?"
