𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗼 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺?

The question begs deep introspection and analysis. “Why does the world rise so vehemently against Islam and Muslims today?”

It is essential to unravel whether this opposition stems from genuine concerns or calculated narratives that have been imprinted deeply in the hearts of people across the globe. The narrative that links Islam with terrorism is not accidental but a deliberate and systematic construct that has successfully been embedded in public consciousness.

By examining facts, the essay exposes the financial powers opposing Islam and shines a light on how Islamic principles challenge thriving unethical industries, leading to fierce opposition by those benefiting from them.

The contemporary world thrives off industries that are legally permissible yet morally questionable. Let us examine some of the most lucrative global markets:

• 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲: Annually, the global illegal drug trade is valued at $321 billion, fueling not only addiction but also organized crime syndicates worldwide. This business thrives on exploiting vulnerability and human suffering.

• 𝗔𝗹𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀: Legal but socially devastating, the alcohol trade generates $1,600 billion annually. Its societal impact is visible in broken homes, health issues, and loss of productivity worldwide.

• 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲: The sale of weapons amounts to $100 billion annually. This trade fuels wars, destruction, and loss of innocent lives under the guise of defense and protection.

• 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Globally, the exploitative sex trade stands at $400 billion annually. It reduces human beings to mere commodities, destroying lives and perpetuating abuse.

• 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: Gambling, another widely accepted vice, generates $110 billion yearly, negatively impacting individuals and families while creating a cycle of debt and despair.

• 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆: The trafficking of explicit content is valued at $100 billion annually, damaging perceptions of gender equality, relationships, and societal dignity.

• 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀: Other indulgences like gold and computer gaming (worth billions) cater to materialistic desires over meaningful development. In total, these industries amount to a staggering $2,380 billion annually, earning profits while deepening societal divides. What distinguishes Islam is its outright condemnation and prohibition of activities that empower these industries.

Islam, as a philosophy and way of life, categorically bans activities like alcohol consumption, drug usage, gambling, prostitution, and exploitation in all forms. These prohibitions are not random but guided by the principles meant to prevent harm to individuals and society.

For instance:

1.𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲: Islam’s total ban on intoxicants protects human health and stability. If the world were to follow this principle, the $321 billion drug trade would crumble, along with the organized mafias that thrive on it.

2.𝗕𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗹l: By forbidding alcohol consumption, Islam safeguards society from the destructive impact of addiction and abuse. This principle would eliminate the $1,600 billion global alcohol industry overnight, causing immense economic consequences for the stakeholders of this trade.

3.𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: According to Islamic teachings, war should only...
