The letter carried brief instructions: 'Meet me at the corner of the street', it read. But who was it from?
Zeina, a girl who used to run a small cafe on Burlington Street was on her way to her house. After giving a back-to-home ride to her friend named Lily, she was crossing over the road when she saw an ice cream parlour. She was stunned to find it open at that time but anyways she was craving for it. So, she came out of her car and paid for ice cream. When she came back to her car, she saw a bouquet of white flowers. She wasn't shocked at all, but what made her worry was how did that person know where she was right now. They used to be there only on the bench outside the cafe but today she didn't receive any bouquet on the bench outside the cafe. There was also a card stuck between the flowers. She took it out, and read it aloud, ‘Meet me at the corner of the street’, it read. Below the words, it was written ‘Guess who?’. She was stunned. Her heart missed a beat and started thumping. She was scared, not for her life but for the betrayal that she didn't want to give to her husband even though she hated him from the depth of her heart. She was his wife, she had to be loyal, for she was stuck to him for her entire life. She...
