From Chapter two the contintuation
Phara lays her cubs and tells the elders and lower ranks to keep guard outside while he is gone. Artamis has gone to investagate, the smells of the stranger lone wolf if it may have been him or something else. He scents danger and need to know what was going on, he went with the scoutsof the pack in the middle of the night and had left Phara and his cubs safe with the elders and guards outside the den. He didn't know when he would return and he was a little unsettled that he had to leave his love ones but as leader of a pack he need to do his job as leader, protector, and father. As he and some of his pack scouts set out. He licks his brides head and is off in the darkness of the night. looks back over his shoulder and walks out the den and into the snow covered ground, the trail out side now has been packed in so it was easy to come and go when needed.
The blood from the lastest kills now dried from the cold winds and bits of snow that had falling from the near by trees, even some tracks had been filled in from the tress. The travel would be hard as the snow was still chest deep in some areas of the forrest. And the deeper they went into the forest over smaller hills, and through caverns, and under old tree trucks that where up rooted from storms before. Through wide streams and very cold waters, ice cracking, under the brushes, and now freezing rain. The freezing rain was coming from the east west, and was coming down hard, so Artimis and his small scout group would have to stop for the rest of the night. One such scout had cuts on his paws so Artimis wou have to call for healer with a howl. He hoped that one of the closer Timber wolf healers would hear his call.
"Awhooo," was heard in the east, north, west, and the south of the forest. A small group of mage healers about a mile and half away, heard and went to Artimis's location. The mage healers where a tiny group of wolves, these wolves where Eastern wolves, loyal to a fault, Royal by blood, trained by the best of the best. The leader was a teen at that, but very smart, pretty of a mi of blak, white and grey coat. Had lost a leg as a resualt of a cruel and evil humatheir healing...
Once the small grup of mage healers arrived at Artimis location they begain to gather mediines, herbs and other potions to brew for the scout that had been hurt. They stayed with tem to keep an eye on the scout to make sure he or she would make it the rest of the journey.
The next morning...
The mage healers had been gathered around the small camp bushes and about to leave but they ashured Artimis and his group that the scout could go on. And left them with thier herbs and medice in case they needed them. Artimis and his group would be getting themselves up and eat some hares two of the scouts had cought the night before. The clouds slowly come in from the east, but where not threating for any snow or rain, they where white and fluffy. And on their own Artimis and his group would leave and go on their way one everyone had eatten. Though the lone wolf scent was futher up into the mountin and over ruffer train of the forest. they would or may hope to find him or her. it would take most of the morning to do so, the had stopped only twice by this time to make sure the herbs for the scout where help and they where but the scouts would now need to hunt for food. there had been a group of mice not far so the group went off for the mice they found in small toppled tree root stump. The scouts eat and they where on the move again.
Back to the grey wolf pack
The scouts, healers, mages and the leaders gather now outside of thier grounds to await the out come some matters that have come up within the pack. It is time to start training the cubs and teens how to hunt, and gather, and time for them for thier ranks within the pack and to do so each of the members have to take on a group of six each to do the training, there was also another matter as what to do with food starting to run low and also what to do about the ones that had started the fight. the leaders went to deal with the fights and the others went to where they would need to for pair the cubs and teens for the days maybe even weeks of hard training, and where to place each of there six members of each group, and find out what skills the could bring to each of the groups. The healers went off into the interroy of smaller caves with thier six and towards the west facing silver mountins, the mages went north towards the stream of the dammed or forgotten sounding a frozen over, but warm streamed waterway and took their group of six, the scouts would be closer and took thier six and would begin learning what each of the teens skills would be and get specail orders to each one to carry out for the day. meanwhile the leaders talked to each of the offeders of the fight, though not pleased with the answers they got from them would give them time served with a a warring paw if they did not smarten up, though blood from the stick the leaders gave each one, they bowed thier heads and back away from the leaders and where told that if it happened again they would be find themselves kicked out and banned from joining any of other groups of the pack and they would have survive on their own and without any help from any other grey wolves or otherwise.
Meanwhile back to the timber wolf pack
The timbers had found some interesting smaller teen wolves that have been wanting to join with dark mages, and magicia to gain skills in those arts if the need arise someday that they may or may not need those but it was best to let them try. One such tiny of a wolf looked up at the timber wolf leader with sadness in her eyes, and a very quite voice of that of a little girl, "I say me lo" meaning lord as she hadn't learned the words lord or leader just yet and did not want to insult him in anyway. He looked down at the young sweet wolf and "yes Lolya what is it?" She keep her eyes down "I have some sad news and I dooon't know hoooo to say it", as she begain to cry with tears stream down her little wolf face. "Its alright little do go on if you can,' he said in a kind voice. My lo, mmme moth er she iiis gone!" "Oh don't worry she shall be back tonight after ut in the meantime why don't you go and see if you can find your grandmother, Lolya." I and my alpha will go and look for your mother." O o key, Thank lo" she turned but looked back over her shoulder and her leader smiled and she went to go find her grandmother.
The timber leader and his alpha where now done with the fighting business and now it was time to find Lolya's mother. though in the back of his mind he might have guessed what had happened to her. But he had to be sure for her sake. they both walked some fourty miles down a small but thick covered tracks in the snow, and seen what looked to be blood. It looked grim, but the small trail of blood was thankful not Lolya's mother. It was in fact a large what looked to be moose or maybe even a black fur from a bear.
