She was bored as she had nothing to do. She was with three of her siblings when she laid down restlessly ontop of the sheets in her bedroom with nowhere to go as it's almost midnight while her parents were on a runaway trip.

It was 11:30 p.m. and she was on her phone listening to Blackpink's 'How You Like That' when she received a text from Benji, the guy who's been falling for her since the day they met.

Benji: Hey
Kate: Hi
Benji: What are you upto?😉
Kate: Scrolling down instagram pictures
nothing else😅
Benji: Can we meet?
Kate: You mean like right now!!!😱😱
Benji: Well....um....I kinda have trouble
sleeping and besides we're just
fifty feet apart
Kate: Um....sure😅
Benji: 😁Give me a minute I'll come and pick you up...

Kate had put on her white infamous canvas and was about to leave her room when her sister, Sun confronted her.

"Where are you going at this time of night? Are you mad?" she questioned.

"Well some guy from the neighbourhood that we both know says he's not feeling well lately and he just needs someone to talk to and the fact that we're good friends, he asked me if I could accompany him" Kate half lied, "you know I'm good at empathizing people right!" she continued.

"It's way past your curfew but okay. Please don't get yourself into trouble because I'll be damned if anything happens to you." she said hugging her sister.

"Chill missy I'm a big girl now. There isn't nothing I couldn't handle" she hugged back before she left to see Benji.

She saw Benji at a distance and walked towards him
"I'm sorry if I have kept you waiting for God knows how long." Kate gave a nervous smile

"It's okay" he said looking towards her" it's been not even five minutes and here you are" he smiled showing his perfect white teeth but with braces on.

It was breezy outside and Kate having forgot to wear her jacket, she was struggling to keep herself warm by rubbing her elbows with both her palms.
