A second turn
Come on....Move...Move..roared the the chief officer of the fire department as he ordered his men to get on the Fire struck..I was having my lunch but I quit my lunch only having a spoon of scrambled eggs..I ran to my locker room and wore my uniform and carried my oxygen cylinder system and safety axe.I ran towards our Fire truck and got inside it.
"The whole building is under fire and looks like we are gonna be the first response" said my mate through the loud sirens of the fire truck.. Within five minutes we reached the building which on fire..I looked at the building and it looked like a worst nightmare.. through the open windows there were people trying to jump out and through some windows there were half burned pieces of paper and other meterials flying out and moving through the air like fireflies. The cops have blocked all the entrance and exits preventing civilians to reach the building..and the cops were doing what they can and they were going inside the building to bring back as many people as they can..On one side police medics were giving CPRs to the people they brought out from the building. There was a strange smell flowing through that area and I soon realized what it was but never showed outside what I understood maybe the new recruits will lose their morale if they knew that it was the smell of burning flesh.
Our chief went inside the building first,I checked my oxygen supply and checked once again everything and carrying my safety axe I followed him and the rest of them marched behind us into the building..Even though I was wearing the safety gears I could feel the heat radiating from inside the rooms...
