She chose her cleanest piece of clothing to wear. It was a festival after all and she wanted to celebrate with everyone else. When she stepped into the street a speeding car drove by splashing dirty water on her. A tear fell down her cheek. The poor had no right to celebrate...

She started crying with so much disappointment. With the same dress, she walked on the street to her friend’s house. Everybody on the street stared at her dress. She couldn’t face anyone.

She reached her friend’s house nearby. Her friend stared at her and with so much happiness, "wow your dress is so pretty like an angel. Where did you get this dress, Eva? " She got confused with friends expression. Eva just went to her friend’s bedroom and look at her dress in the mirror.

She looks so pretty. Her dress looks like an angel dress which was so pretty. The dress was pink in color and matching earrings and necklace were also there. She was so surprised to look at everything. She was wondering how this miracle happened. With so much confusion she returned home.

Her mother also got confused looking at her costume and asked "Who gave you this dress, tell me the truth". Eva’s mother started beating her. Her mother taught that Eva have stolen this costume from someone.

She started crying. Suddenly her costume changed to her dirty dress.

Her mother stopped beating her and looked at her dress with confusion. She asked Eva " What’s happening to you. Why everything changing like this".

Suddenly Eva’s face turned into a horrible face and it shouted at her mother " Don’t treat your child like that, otherwise I will kill everybody". She got scared looking at that face. Then her face gets normal and she fainted. Her mother with too much fear started to take care of Eva.

Then she was thinking about her activity towards Eva. Eva’s mother always treats her badly as she is not her direct mother. She is her stepmother
