Thank you Kavya
In February 2020 I had a near death experience of my own making as my situation and relationship at home had become unbearable, basically I was broken and didn't think I was worth fixing as I had no self esteem and severe depression.
By some kind of miracle I woke up in hospital with some family members present, over the coming days as I lay there my family persuaded me not to go home. On release from hospital I stayed at my daughter's then a couple of weeks later I found a flat to rent, I had got some fight back, I told the therapist I was assigned I was going back to work, she said I shouldn't go back so soon but she would help me get financial support, I said I needed do it my way, a week after starting back covid hit so I got furloughed for a couple of months but on returning to work I was struggling, my boss realised this and invited me to a meditation group which I attended until it shut down, we were encouraged to write a journal as this is thought to help you put things into perspective.
Shortly after I started doing this I posted a story on the group's WhatsApp, it was well received but someone that I don't know to this day messaged me asking if they could show my story to a friend in a mental hospital for inspiration, of course I said yes, they also suggested I check out Writco which obviously I did.
It was only when Kavya said that they liked the way that I write about everyday things that I realised I am still keeping my daily journal.
I hope I'm still giving some of the inspiration and strength to people that I now feel myself.
