The Dark Descent: Vampires vs Zombies (Part 4)
Me and Leo were then chucked in the boot of a van as the van sped off. Leo was still unconscious so I had to rock back and forth to wake him up. When he woke up he looked mad at me and then began to close his eyes again and wake up dramatically.
I rolled my eyes but he then realised we were in the back of a van. He said he was going to come back after going to Spain and grabbing some churros and then coming back to give them to me but he couldn’t even make it out of the forest.
I then mentioned I went to find him and Ryder was probably still sleeping as we drifted further and further away from him. Leo clearly hates Ryder’s guts because he covers his ears every time I mention him. I feel like Leo thinks of Ryder as competition even though all we’ve ever done is said I love you but never made it official.
I wanted to question him about it but I decided it wasn’t the right time. I felt so guilty that we’re both going to die because I couldn’t turn myself in. I couldn’t stop hyperventilating and Leo must’ve sensed it because he held my hand and told me it was going to be alright.
In the movies I’d believe him but this is real life and you can’t just rewatch it or get a trailer to see if it’s going to be okay or not. He wasn’t even okay himself as his head was bleeding but his hands were tied behind his back like mine.
When the van stopped and I opened my eyes for the first time after trying to sleep and I was tied against the same railing me and Leo were at before. I then realised that the person coming towards us laughing must be the same zombie person as before.
Once again he grabbed a stake and aimed it at Leo’s heart. I tried harder than ever to escape the rope but the guards had their hands on me anyways. The zombie person then threw it at Leo and I screamed as the stake hit Leo’s heart and he bled to death.
The zombie person took ages talking about his master plan before he even started to aim the stake. The only person I had left was Ryder and I was going to leave him alone now so he can live a peaceful life. When he finally threw it at my heart Ryder tried to save me but I shoved him away and I fell to the floor bleeding as Ryder picked me up into his arms.
