9th commandment. 9️⃣
Against falsehood:
Deuteronomy 5:20
[20]Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour. 🗣️💬

Jesus proclaimed that those who suffer persecution because of false and malicious accusations are blessed:
Matthew 5:11
[11]Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

He too had to undergo such persecution when He was crucified because of false witnessing:
Matthew 26:59-60
[59]Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
⚖️😠🕳️
[60]But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses...🃏🎭

Jesus forbade retaliating against these liars rather, to pray for them:
Luke 6:28
[28]Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
🛐💟

He commended Zacchaeus for compensating other people due to dishonesty:
Luke 19:8-9
[8]And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.👳👬
[9]And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.🙌

Jesus warned against the coming false Messiah and false prophets who will deceive many:
Mark 13:21-23
[21]And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:👉🚫❌
[22]For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.👺
[23]But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
