Unavoidable Surrender Pt. 2
Monday couldn't come fast enough for Sasha. Shocking, huh? But there is a very good reason for that state of mind. Or rather, a certain someone.

Sasha hummed to himself as he got ready for work. Those who know him well are aware of his absolute hatred of every hour earlier than 10 o'clock. How can anyone function before that time is a mystery! As he made his coffee (black, like his soul), he thought about a certain cute coworker of his. The only person who could actually make him not dread Monday mornings. Even if she refuses to aknowledge those small changes in his usual behavior. Not that he told her that much, mind you. He'll get to that very soon.

He recalled their last conversation, when he told her that he's determined to make her his and how he won't stop until he does. He wasn't lying to her, there's no point in twisting your words or holding back when you know what your goal is. She isn't the only one who can be obstinate! That's why he felt so drawn to her. Her determination to deny him, that defiant look in those beautiful liquid amber eyes, made him want her even more. It wasn't just her looks, as she probably thinks. He might come across as arrogant and self-centred, but he's far from shallow. Looks alone are only good so much. Oh well, if she belives him to be that way, he'll just have to correct her. He'll do so with pleasure. He would do everything for her.

He is whipped, for lack of a better word. Obssessed even. It all started 3 years ago when Rachel first came to work at their firm. At first sight, she seemed quite shy, not to the point of stuttering or hiding behind someone, but enough for him to think that she would be one of those typical 'cute and shy' girls. And cute she was. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her, it's like he was spellbound by her overall appearance, especially her eyes. Cliché, but isn't life full of those? Anyway, that was his first impression of her. And he prided himself in his ability to read people. That was his first mistake when it came to Rachel. The second was his constant teasing of her, though he doesn't really regret it. When she finally exploded and told him she isn't his servant and to do his work instead of making her do it, that gave him fuel for goading her and getting on her every last nerve. He just couldn't help it, her reactions were way too cute and the way her eyes flashed at him made his day. It was all in good fun, for him at least.

Afterwards, as he observed her, he noticed the little things- how she took her coffee, how tidy her desk was, how she always did her paperwork on time, that purple and blue were her colors, how kind and helpful she is as well as blunt and veeery sarcastic, he could go on and on but it wouldn't be enough. He soon realised he'd never get enough of her.

It didn't shock him all that much, these feelings he caught for her. It also didn't shock him when he decided to do something about them, before someone else does. He wasn't going to let that happen, no way. He won't be letting Rachel slip through his fingers anytime soon. Or at all. She'll see things his way in due time.
