Once I was filled with regret
Everything I did myself I could not forgive
I was in the bottom of the sea
My mind was rotten to the core of no return
I suggested I can not be saved
For the things I do no man can do
My whole being has been painted black
I see no light on the path I walk
How I wish and hope there's a way
Another path that I can choose to call hope
Well I met a person I say is special for me
I was thought to have hope for I'm loved even tho I think I'm evil
I'll find grace and happiness if I know the one who loves me
I started to laugh to the top of my voice for I know I cannot be loved
The way I am no salvation can come to me
I was told once more to believe and repent even tho I see no one I pray to
I did so and kept doing it
I stopped my ways and found happiness
Then I gained hope
I found grace in the unknown
Lately I realized I was saved by that grace
I gained the love of a being whom I did not know
I started to give instead of receiving more
I found GOD
