Blessed
It was the birthday of a king. In the morning, when he went out for a walk, he decided that the first person he would be to meet on the way, he will make him/her completely happy and satisfied today.
He got a beggar. When the beggar begged the king, the king threw a copper coin towards the beggar. The coin fell into the groove leaving the beggar's hand. The beggar put his hand in the drain and started looking for the copper coin.
The king summoned him and gave him another copper coin. The beggar was happy and kept the coin in his pocket and went back to find the coin dropped in the drain.
The king felt that the beggar is very poor. He called the beggar again and gave him a silver coin. The beggar kept the silver coin cheering the king and then started looking for the copper coin in the drain.
The king called him again and now gave the beggar a gold coin. The beggar rose up happily and ran back, extending his hand towards the drain.
The king felt very bad. He remembered the decision made by himself that "the first person to be met today is to be happy." He called the beggar again and said that I give you half of my kingdom. Now, be happy and satisfied.
The beggar said - "My lord! I will be happy and satisfied only when I get the copper coin which has fallen in the drain."
Our condition is the same as that of a beggar.
God has given us the precious treasure of human life and we are forgetting it and losing life to extract copper coins in the world drain.
If we use this precious human life properly, our life will be blessed.
