Mother hen was in her owner's kitchen a place where she loved to be as she would always eat to her fill. Her owner was preparing pancakes. Mother hen had never eaten one before so she was fascinated. She could see the mashed bananas,the diced veggies, the milk and oat meal. Her mouth watered. She was moving closer to her owner to have a better look when she saw the eggs.

'Those eggs look familiar' she thought. That's the shell colour of my egg,the little rough skin, the little bump on the side,yes that's the scratch I gave them, those are my eggs! She crowed with all her might. Her owner who was oblivious started to break the egg to pour into her mixing bowl.

Mother hen flew up in rage to poke her owner,then she checked her eggs,finding them complete, she sighed realising it was all a dream.
