I was working on a Wednesday when a mother and her daughter came in and I welcome them in the store and left them roaming around,To see if they sees anything they want. I started to realized something off with the little girl she seems uncomfortable and stressed,Her mother kept holding on the kid hand while squeezing it when suddenly I overheard the mother said "This would look so sexy on you ".She was showing the little girl a red and blue lingerie. The doesn't even looked old enough for that and from the looked to me she seems about six or seven years old.The kid kept saying "No mama,I'm just a kid why don't you wear it? I wanna go home now mom", But that woman kept choosing all kind of different clothes no child should be wearing.I went to get my manager and told him everything and he immediately called the cops without any hesitation,They told us to keep an eye on them. The mother realized we were watching them,I walked up to her and started telling her about the store and other things just to keep her here until the cops arrived,I then noticed a bruised on the child hand,Chest,under her eyes and had this red lining mark around her wrist.She came to her sense and realized that I was just chatting her out to keep her here,She put back everything thas in her hand and started walking very fast with the little girl but my manager stopped her from walking out the door,She started shouting "Let me out right now",The cops showed up right on time thank god they showed up on time because I thought she would pulled out a gun or something and hurt us or the kid. The cops then realized the little girl been missing for seven months and actually wasn't from here,The cops arrested her for kidnapping. The little girl and the cops went back to the station for questioning and reunited with her rightful parents.
I was so broken after that because here I am living in a state where human trafficking is high but then our government there worrying about tiktok instead of sending out all the cops,FBI, and CIA to search for all the missing persons.
