"It's a girl! "
The doctor gushed, placing the wailing infant on the woman's chest.
She heaved trying to catch her breath in the aftermath of her gruelling labour. Tears of pain mingled briefly with tears of joy before dissolving into tears of sadness.
She had once again given birth to a girl! Her third daughter. What would her husband and in-laws do to her now?...
They think it's easy or it's predictable for a women to know what the gender of their baby will be when they fall pregnant.. She looked in the mirror and cried not knowing what else to do.. she once again had the thought of killing her new born baby girl but as she looked at her wonderful and beautiful, blessing in front of her she took a decision to carry on with her life alongside her three beautiful daughters..It doesn't matter what her husband and her in-laws would say.. She'd protect her daughters no matter what..
