The North Evergreens: 1
Finally! It's summertime! And I'm not happy because it gets warmer, nor because there is no school, but because the friends of Evie come to the cold small country called Evergreens.
Anya, or Volannka, the coolest of all, ice queen, loves drama. 11 y.o.
Evie, or Evergreen Jr. herself, was born in the South Evergreens, loves both places. Short brown hair. Almost 12.
Sabrina, tall girl, straight brown hair, dark gray eyes. Oldest of all - 16.
Evdokie, aka Yellow Cat, also tall, very long hair, brown eyes, the weirdest one. 13 years.
Dequisa, Sabrina's sister. Looks pretty much like her, only eyes a little lighter. 11.
Evan, chubby guy with brown, Evan style hair, always makes fun of anyone he can. 14 years old.
And last, but best, Tayler with an 'e', nice looking guy, blonde hair, somehow naturally slicked back, tall, strong, noble like a knight. 15 y.o.
Those are the seven friends of the Evergreens.
This morning Evie woke up and looked at her phone.
"Omg, yessss! It's finally here!"
She threw off her blanket and put on her clothes. Then she put on her socks and ran downstairs.
"It's finally here, it's finally here, its finally here, it's finally here!"
She was going to her parent's room to wake them up, but then she realized that her mom would wake up happier if she washed her face and brushed her teeth first. She went back upstairs and went to the bathroom. After washing her face in the white sink and brushing her teeth Evie tried to fix her hair. In vain, though. She went back downstairs to wake up her mom and dad and eat breakfast. Her cat, Kitty, was begging for breakfast.
"Well, I'm not gonna feed you" - Evie said - "I don't know, maybe someone else fed you. When my brother left to work he might have fed you already".
She took some Philadelphia cream cheese from the refrigerator and a piece of bread. Then mom walked in the room:
"Good morning, sunshine" - she kissed her head - "What are you doing so early in the morning?"
"Isn't it obvious? It's the first day of summer! That means it's the 'Adventure bus' day!"
"Oh, yes, that bus. Something always happened to it. Flat tire, lost luggage, or the driver lost his way."
Evelina finished her breakfast and ran upstairs to get her suitcase ready.
She came back down thirty minutes later, with a suitcase that she was getting ready all May. It had the picture of the Evergreens - South on one side, the North on the other. Dad was already drinking his coffee.
"I'm leaving now. The bus goes very early. In... oh no! I'm gonna be late! Goodbye mom, goodbye dad!"
She went to the exit and then ran back upstairs. She grabbed her headset. She ran downstairs. Then she went back to grab her charger. Then she said goodbye to her mom and dad again and left.
