Chapter 11- Getting punished

“Dude stop daydreaming!” I felt a hard poke on my shoulder which brought me back into the world.

“Sorry Harley.” “Hey I thought you said I won't talk to you.” I said as soon as I noticed her.

“Are you missing me already.” A familiar voice called out and I moved away from my locker to see her.

“Lizzy.” She looked so fresh and more beautiful, probably because she had rested from all the school work.

“I called you a million times every single day. I was starting to get worried that you found another boyfriend to stay in my place.” Junior said.

“Of course not. My phone was lost and it took time for me to buy another one in Canada.” I was so happy. I missed her sweet voice, everything about her. I decided to give her a gift. “Junior not here!” Harley lamented as Lizzy giggled. “What? He just gave me a brief kiss on the lips. Can't he do that?” Lizzy said still with that beautiful smile on her face.

“I am his younger sister, I might get jealous.”

“Wow I knew it! How did you guys find out.” Harley stared at me, stared at me and finally at Lizzy.

“Long story.” Harley and I said at the same time.

“Come on guys. Junior we are in trouble.”She dragged me away and Lizzy followed.

“I am doubling your punishment. You didn't do what I told you to do.” Mr. Ben said in his office.

“But sir we have our tests today.” I protested. “I don't care.” He was harsh and cold.

Harley’s pov

We went for our classes,yeah six worst hours of my life. The test wasn't what made it bad, it was my thoughts. My mind was unsettled thinking about Henry and Junior.

“Come on let's go.” I noticed the green clothing Junior held in his hands. “What are you holding.” I asked simply out of curiosity. “Mr. Ben said we should wear this while cleaning.”

“What the? We are not cleaners!” I nagged.

“Just let's thank our stars that some people have gone home now.” He gave me a broom. And sadly we started cleaning the dumb compound. “Well well well.” Am annoying and familiar voice said.

When Junior and I turned back I saw Liv, Regina, Henry intertwining hands with Liv, Anna and June! “June. What are you doing with these people.” I said angrily.

“ Sorry she's my cousin.” I shook my head in anger.

“You people have formed your gang. And Henry, June? Traitors.” I just continued sweeping.

Liv and Anna opened their bags and poured a whole lot of garbage on what I was cleaning. “What the?” Junior said but I just nod my head so that he coyld trust me. “You look like an actual cleaner.” Liv and Anna started laughing but June and Henry didn't move an inch.

“You people.” I wanted to confront them but when I saw Mr. Ben I couldn't do anything. They all left and Henry and June followed them without saying anything,like they were hypnotized or something.

“Done and done. Can we go now.” I said staring at Mr. Ben with a smirk on my face.

“You have not suffered enough. You will all pay.” He pointed his index finger at Junior and I.

“Why are you doing this.” I lamented.

“You are asking me why. Your parents, that's why.” He said and just walked away.” What? My parents are like the most nicest person.” I said and faced Junior. He just shrugged.

“ Come on let's go home. I need to know the results of the DNA test.” He reminded me and I got angry. “Why are you doing this.”

“You, mom and aunt Maggie are the family I always wished for. I want to be sure because the way we have been fighting between ourselves isn't like siblings.” He explained to me and I sighed.

“Whatever, but I'm scared. If it is negative promise that you will stay with mom and I.” I said as I hugged him tight.

“Of course.” I let go of him.

“I hate you.” I said.

“I love you more.” He said as we walked to the bus stop.

On the bus, I saw someone who was well… it was surprising to see him there. “Henry? June? What are you doing here? I am the poor kid right.” I said.

“Don't say that.” His breath sent chills from my neck to my entire body. I turned back. “You are dating that witch.” “Look Liv is my best friend she would be crushed if I don't accept her.” Those words hurt me so much.

“So you care about her like that.” I said.

“Yes, she has helped me so much in the past. Besides it's just casual dating.”

“Casual dating dude,really? Tell her the truth, don't let her continue to harass Harley. She's a bad person.” Junior said.

“You guys don't know what influence she had on my life.”

“You are dating another person when you are cray cray about someone else.” Junior said and stared at me.

“Just leave me alone. I only took the bus to talk to you guys. I followed you for absolutely nothing.” Henry said. June wanted to speak but I gave her such a glare that made her probably feel guilty.

“Sorry.” June said and the whole 20 minutes trip was in silence.

“Don't worry next time we will take my car to avoid weirdos.” I giggled at his statement. “Stop joking around.” I said as I opened the door to let us in.

“The results are here.” My mom looked worried. “Mmmom what's that look on your face.” She looked as if she wanted to cry.
