Queen of the Northern side
Picture this, Picture that
change your style, keep your smile-
On the table of life
Perfect shot to capture your bleeding side
Fake your smile, don't fake your smile
should I let them know i am not excited
should I tell them see I am sad inside.
should I tell them;
no, I won't spoil the moment
with my crocodile tears. nobody cares.
nobody cares, no....body

Watching the moon bury her face to a new day, hiding her beauty in the dark, her insecurity evident in the early mornings, she fades away when the sun shows up; thinking she isn't as hot as she and nobody cares about her, they always shut their doors and eyes to her, never taking notice of how she feels.
The moon is her, beautiful black woman in the northern part of a damaged nation. Single but a mother at an early age, her siblings turned her into the provider and a protector, she had become a god to them. They run to her when they are in trouble, her wisdom keeps them safe but who would keep her safe. Walking around at night in the city filled with wild animals dressed up as hu-mans, man, she needs to walk faster, take up the pot of water and run everyday of her life.
Her mates getting married to the richest men in town but her beauty is been swallowed by her hard works to feed her juniors. Her neck like the beautiful Ethiopian ostrich and her legs like the graceful Kenyan giraffe. She had the eyes of an eagle but gradually becoming blinded by the smoke from the dead wood she burns daily to produce fire for warmth.
She is fighting to keep them save, but who will keep her save?
She is sweating to keep them happy, but who will put a smile on her face?
The Black woman from the northern part of a damaged nation,
she sold her future and no one paid close attention.
