After Sinzo leaves me all by myself I couldn't help myself but think of her traveling down the memory lane to the first time I lay my eyes on her.

I have never believed in love, nevertheless in love at first sight but from my own experience it felt like an arrow went right through my heart then.

It was fine hours in the morning, still cold, a little sunlight and clouds, dragons roaring and feeding their kids and the kindred beasts back to their homes.

I was playing with my pet dragon 'Azure' a beautiful long white dragon with deep blue eyes. I was still trying to bond with him, I got him last year in the dragon forest and man do they grow fast! He went from one feet to nine in a year.

He still throws me off his back whenever he wants to, bites my hand whenever I feed him and sweeps me off my feet with his tail for no apparent reason. I started to think he hates me.

Something similar happened that day, we were flying past a gate of spirits zone and then he threw me off his back, I fell right to the ground, the good thing was that we weren't flying too high when he dropped me, the bad thing was now I'd have to walk back all the way to my home and man that's a half day walk.

After I put myself together, I saw her, sitting there is a corner, her head bent on her knees and then looking up at me with confusion and apprehension. I would have loved to talk to her if I wasn't locked into my place in her dark black eyes and the locks of her wavy hair.

I couldn't move so I kept staring at her until finally I could find the strength to move. I moved towards her and in a split second I realized she wasn't one of us, she wasn't a magi, but a human!
