"I love you"
Those words are simply said yet hardly carries strong motives.
I stared at his eyes lightens up and a soft smile stretches upon his lips saying "So do I" Still I felt something a tinge of uncertainty at the end of it but I shrug away the thought and embraced him warmly. It's been a long time since I adore the person who makes me feel so many things.Then one day I was surprised to know he likes me too and after days until weeks of getting to know each other I finally said it. The three words that means a lot to me where I gave it to him. I'm so happy he loves me too.
We had a great time and I became really foolish thinking this is it, he would be staying by me forever and who could have thought It'll only last on brief moments.
After we graduated he pulled me from the crowd and said those things that shatters me.
"Jillian, I-im really sorry but... Im inlove with my bestfriend, all this time I'm just confirming my feelings for her and she loves me too"
I felt myself smile to him when I saw the happiness on his features and voice, rather than myself.... having other feelings as a test subject is a great idea (i hit sarcasm/.
"Oh.. wow t-thats good Devion! I really wish you'll be both happy." I failed miserably to hide my pain when my voice betrayed me. It broke into pieces like my insides and I look away.
"Thank you Jill, I loved our short time together I wish you'll met someone who deserve you soon."
Yeah indeed a shortest time I had you with me and It tore me how easily you were gonna leave while I'll be stuck in a mean time whether to move from my corner.
