RIVERDALE HIDDEN SCHOOL (CHAPTER 3 the dangers that lurks)
"Dad, wait! I tried, but that girl interrupted us. She..."
Jake's father cut him off, his voice dripping with disdain. "You had a girl stop you, and you walked away like a coward? I'll make you strong enough to defeat anyone who comes your way, son."
Jake's father smiled, his eyes gleaming with a sinister intensity. He moved closer to Jake, his footsteps echoing in the small room.
Jake cowered, shivering harder. "No, please...please..."
His father's smile grew wider. "You're pathetic, Jake. You need to toughen up."
With a swift motion, Jake's father dragged him by the leg into a hole after removing his shoes. Jake's screams echoed through the room as his father began to taunt him.
"You're going to stay down there until you learn to fight back. You're going to stay down there until you become the son I want you to be."
Jake's father slammed the lid shut, plunging Jake into darkness. Jake's screams grew louder, but his father just laughed, the sound echoing through the room. Here is the rewritten text:
The classroom was abuzz with the murmurs of teenagers from different supernatural bloodlines. The walls of Riverdale Hidden School were adorned with ancient symbols, and the air was thick with the scent of old books and magic. Professor Orion stood at the front of the classroom, surveying the students with a keen eye.
Lutra, a vampire student with piercing blue eyes, peeped through the door. "May I come in, Professor?"
Professor Orion opened the door, his expression stern. "Yes, Lutra, but may we know why you're late?"
Lutra hesitated, "Uhm, yes, I—"
Sophia, a ware-wolf with curly black hair, interrupted him. "His father told me to inform you about his late entry. I'm sorry, I forgot. He said Lutra here had a rough night with a headache."
All eyes were on them, and Lutra's face turned bright red.
Professor Orion stared at Lutra, then nodded. "Oh, I see. Okay, you may have a seat, Lutra. Hope you feel better now."
"Yes professor thanks for asking" Lutra sat down, whispering silently to Sophia, "Thanks again, Sophi."
Sophia smiled back at him, her cheeks blushing.
Professor Orion continued, "So, there's been an intruder. I believe the class won't be long today. Everyone will be gone to their houses for security purposes. Is that understood?"
The class responded in unison, "Yes, Professor."
As the students filed out of the classroom, Lutra caught up with Sophia. "Hey, thanks again for covering for me."
Sophia smiled. "No problem, Lutra. But next time, try to be on time, okay?"
Lutra chuckled. "I'll try."
Meanwhile, outside the school, the passage way out of Riverdale was like a portal; it turned blue at night and back to white fog in the morning. The people in charge of the lookout were Malfi, the Guardian Chancellor of Riverdale, and Michael Jake's father, followed by two guardians and Lutra's parents, Anna and John.
Malfi squatted down to observe the area. "I believe this shouldn't be the ones we're expecting, guardians. This is the doing of another creature, strange and very powerful."
Michael stood up, irritated. "Oh, great indeed. So, we're leaving a woman to tell us what to do."
Dustin warned him, "I believe chancellor Michael, Mrs. Mickelson is part of us, so no one is to be left out here."
Michael retorted, "How dare a lowlife like you talk back to a chancellor?"
"i'm sorry but....Dustin replied stammering.
Malfi intervened, grabbing Dustin's shirt. "Silence, Men we are all in this together and Dustin respect for your...
