A narrow escape
A narrow escape
Hearing heaving foot steps follow behind me. As I ran in the dark night. My only source of light were the lingering lonely street lights. My companion the fear I held within me.
The moon nor stars are no were to be seen. Like they disappeared in the mist. My mind swirling with thoughts on how I could get out of this situation.
My legs acking for rest. My lungs burned but I could not stop.
I lost my phone and wallets when I fought with the man. I geuss that was not enough for him.
So now here, I am running like my life depended on it. Don't forget lost. Somewhere in the city far away from home.
I know, should have not listened to my friends about how going to the mall would be fun. Yeah 'fun'.
The ghostly quite street gave me more fear. Signalling that I was alone.
I took a left turn down an alley not my best choice but its my only choice.
As I turned in the alley, I heard the voices get louder as near them.
Kept on running towards the voices. It was dark but the minimum amount of light, I could see that those voices belonged to people wearing uniforms.
I dropped to my knees. Tired but I knew I was safe as I saw the police have noticed me.
With that everything whent dark.
