You were quite okay when the Farmers were sitting in one place and shouting slogans while the government continued to ignore them.

You were quite okay when Farmers were Lathi Charged, Tear Gassed and shot water cannons at.

You were quite okay when 100s of farmers died while sitting in the brutal cold.

You were quite okay with the Farmers given planned routes to protest under the Police Supervision.

You would have been quite okay if the Farmers had taken out a rally circled around Delhi and then gone back to their protest sites to sit for another 3 months.

But the moment the Farmers decide to ignore the orders and go out of the "plan" it suddenly makes you squeamish?

Why? What do you think this protest is?

Something to give you content for your social media posts or living room debates over a glass of scotch?

These protests are about the Farmers fighting for their rights...... Their lives.

They do not have the privilege of sitting in their fancy apartments and hurl over "Ye kya ho raha hai iss desh mein"

Their rights and livelihoods were trampled upon and their demands were royally ignored.

They are simply reclaiming what is their right. They are reclaiming democracy.

And if that makes you cringe.....then cringe all you want.
