Good Evening. I love the Novel The Secret Garden written by Frances Hogdson Burnett. It is a novel about love, death and renewal. More important it won The 1991 Tony Awards for Best Musical and The Music was written by Lucy Simon and lyrics by Marsha Mason.

Every day Lady Mary and Dickon Sowerby would take Lord Colin out into his late mother's garden.

Both Lady Mary and Dickon encouraged Lord Colin to help plant the flowers that would bloom in the summer time.

Master Colin was given a scoop and a pot with a rose to plant.

Lady Mary helped Lord Colin out of his wheel chair and said " Take the shovel in your hand and dig a deep hole and place the rose bush into the hole and cover it up with the dirt Lord Colin."

Lord Colin digs a deep hole and with care he places the rose bush into the hole and covers it with earth.

" This is a magical garden. It's going to help me get well." Lord Colin exclaims.

Lord Colin asserts himself when Dr. Craven and Mrs. Medlock tries to keep him away from the garden.

" I am Lord of Misselthwaite Manor when my father is away and I will do as I wish." Lord Colin exclaims.

Dickon and Lady Mary watch Lord Colin becomes well.

This is the very thing that Dr. Craven was afraid of if Lord Colin becomes well and recovers.
