We are Birds😲
Sitting at the balcony and looking at the clear sky, I saw a bird and wished I could be one. Fly so freely, live so freely without worries of life. But then I realized we all are birds just in different stages. Ask me how?? Here's how.
The first stage is the shell stage. This is the point where most of us are am afraid to say so. At this point we are afraid of change and embrace our comfort zone. We fear to try and just want life to be smooth which unfortunately only exist in fairy tales.
The second stage is the nest stage, whereby the nestling gets out of the shell and stays in the nest. This also a very common stage. At this stage life has treated you rudely and you realise you have to adapt to change. However at the nest stage in our lives,we want others to make our dreams come true and be achievable forgetting that if you want something done you have to do it by yourself. We rely on friends, family and expect their support. Shunning the truth that some roads we have to walk ourselves and others will join at the destination.
The flying stage. At this point we fear challenges, criticism and uncomfortability. Not willing to put ourselves out we choose to be the play-it-safers and not push ourselves to our full potential. Yes we know our abilities with the fear of being mocked, rebuked and shamed by others. We prevent our own success and choose to play by people's cards and let others dictate our capabilities. We gain satisfaction from others opinions and live by other people's standards.
Finally, the soaring stage. This is the point when we choose to be eagles. Realise our potential and work to be the best version of ourselves. The most desired yet least worked for. This is the stage that requires one to wear the tough skin, embrace the cold and feel uncomfortable. The road to this
stage is the toughest with a lot of opposition, many times where you feel like giving up but carry on. This is where eagles are made. Sitting at the peak of the snow mountain, shedding off old skin and soaring high again.
