Some hours later we arrived at my uncle's house,the house was all concrete and tall glass windows that a view of the entire city,the style of the building was uniquely different from the other houses we passed by, I could tell that the building I was now was old but astonishing.
I was shown were I would be staying before leaving for school,I took my bags up stairs,down the hall way,the last room by your left.
After unpacking,I went straight to the shower,rinsed myself and changed into a more nightly outfit.
Knock,knock, I turned towards the door and said it was open.
“Your uncle is asking for you' a woman in her mid twenties said.
“I'll be down in a minute”
I left my room and headed downstairs, I saw him sitting with to kids I couldn't recognize. I guessed they were his children.
A girl around my age and a boy much older than the both of us.
“Why don't you come join us Xavier” my uncle said as he spotted me down the stairs.
“Yes sir”
These are my kids Ella and Andrew, Ella will be resuming with you the day after tomorrow in Remus city academy,she is a fresher just like yourself.
I turned to look her her as she smiled and said,“hi I'm Ella a water element mages”
Since she introduced herself,I was forced to say something, “I'm Xavier not sure what elemental I am though”
“And this is my eldest son Andrew a fire mage, he's also an adventurer” my uncle cut in as Ella was about to say something.
I turned to look at the fire mage adventurer sitting next to me, he had no interest in whatever we were talking about as he was focused on the small flame he summoned on his pinky.
After we had introduced ourselves,we talked for a while before we were called by one if the workers that it was time for dinner.
Dinner was quiet and quick since no one had spoken a word. As I stood up and headed for my room, I heard my uncle call out my name.
“Xavier, you'll have to head to the city market to buy somethings you'll be needing for your stay in the academy”
“I would love to go with him”Ella shot out.
“No problem as long as it's okay with Xavier” my uncle said.
“it's okay by me” I said before heading upstairs for my room.
