There was a couple whose uniqueness was rare and often overlooked. Let me share an extraordinary story about a man I am fortunate to know. He was blind as a child, though, in reality, we were all blind to what lay ahead. This boy had an intense love for cricket, a passion shared by many Indians, which isn’t unusual. However, despite his blindness, his love for the sport only grew stronger as he navigated through life. I understand how his passion soared when he found someone who embraced his dream of pursuing a career as a cricketer and competing alongside able-bodied athletes, rather than on a separate team.

There is nothing more horrifying than the feeling of betrayal from someone you trust.

Two friends came to visit me, an elderly man. As they stepped into my house, they sensed something was wrong and tried to flee from my mansion. Why did they run? They saw a photo of me receiving a Parkour Champion award, despite my blindness. They never imagined that such a feat could have happened to me later in life. Only one managed to escape. The other is you—yes, you—sitting in front of me, listening to my story. Listen, young one, do you remember me, the Parkour champion from your neighbourhood? I am a man who has lost his sight completely with age, but my friend was blind from birth. When you truly mature, you will realize that the greatest horror, the greatest tragedy, is the consequence of your misdeeds. Your negative actions will lead to irreparable repercussions in the long run. Living in a grand mansion and being a national-level parkour champion couldn't fill the emptiness I felt after betraying a blind friend who had unwavering faith in me. I mocked his blindness, and now life is mocking me in return. I am ashamed! How could I cheat a friend, especially one who is blind? How could I even call him blind when I was the one who was truly blind? We are all blind in this world,...
