I've joked about something in the water and Farming Chemical runoff around the upper midwest where I live, for decades. I've watched toads, frogs, earthworms, swallows, squirrels, rabbits, and even Canadian Geese and turkeys dwindle in numbers and even disappear over the years.
I'm of the opinion that 'Silent Spring' should be required reading in highschool.
Today's Headline on The Guardian App reads, "One in three Americans have detectable levels of toxic weedkiller, study finds."
Although we are not the only species that pollute our environment as many believe, we have already begun to have the ill effects of doing so come back to bite us.
How do we put cleaning up after ourselves as a top priority now?
