Deadly Kiss.
There was noise....

Just how long it had been silent, she could not say, for she had no concept of time.  She called out with her mind to the noise in the darkness, “Hello...is there someone there?”
For she had no mouth left to form the words, no eyes to see her visitors approach.  No lips to tell the tale...

In her mind the noise whispered to her..."Yes..."

“Will you help me?” she asked into the darkness.  An eerie light began to shine in the dark, a single thought, REVENGE, and, as the fog thickened and concentrated around the obelisk at the crossroads, a plan was formed...

He saw her stepping into the road out of the fog.  How the car racing along the street missed her seemed like a miracle to him.  Carrying a simple plain suitcase she walked towards the empty house on the corner of Mason Street.  She seemed very familiar to him, yet, at that time, he could not place where he had seen her before.

So he sat, in the night..

Watching...

Waiting...

Contemplating...

He chose his victims carefully.  He was very particular.  In the shadows, he smiled. 12 years on and they still had no clue, no thought, no hint, of the identity of the killer.  Only missing person reports and ashes remained of his victims.

But there is one who knows....

...For seven days he watched her from the shadows.

The way her long black hair flowed in the breeze when she walked captivated him.  He loved to watch her slim curvy hips sway from side to side, her long silky hair gently stroking over her small tight ass. He licked his lips and swallowed in anticipation.

That night he spotted her in a quiet corridor of the hospital where he  worked.  She looked lost, confused, helpless...how could he resist..

He learned much about her, and quickly.  He was the kind of man that women found easy to talk to, confide in.  A persona he had worked hard to perfect.

Her name, she said, was Lyn.  She had recently moved into a house nearby, and had been working at the hospital for only a few days and had gotten lost in the vast corridors of the place. How he kept from crying out in his elation, he never knew.  He had found the one.

Memories flooded back to him of his first victim. No one knew she existed, no body ever found.  He felt his pride swell inside him as he remembered her.  Carolyn was her name...

After Carolyn there had been 11 more.  Soon, he would make it 13, unlucky for some, but not for him, he thought.  This one would be special, he knew..  She was almost the image of his first one, same hair, same build, same presence.

Three weeks later, Lyn was walking along the dimly lit corridor and, as she turned a corner, she noticed the door to the hydro-therapy room was open.  She peered inside and noticed him floating gently in the pool.  She smiled when he asked her to join him, no one would know he said..he did it all the time.

As she slowly made her way to the waters edge, throwing off her dress and shoes in the process, he began breathing deep and slow.  Preparing himself for her.  She slid into the water wearing only her underwear.  *Just like Carolyn* he thought.  He knew she was not a good swimmer, and they giggled together as she tried to float like he did, only to sink slowly beneath the surface.  He pulled her out of the water and held onto her as she coughed and spluttered..

The hairs stirred on the back of his neck as more and more memories of Carolyn flooded back into his mind as he pulled Lyn further into his arms and placed his lips on hers.

Hungrily his kiss deepened as they slowly sank beneath the water, their passion fueling their growing desire.  This is where it usually happened.  They usually started now...realising they could not breath.  His arms holding them tight beneath the surface, his lips locked against theirs as if he was sucking the very breath from them.  Like this, he would hold them until they struggled no more...

But tonight was different...

Tonight he was the one struggling...  He was the one fighting for his breath trapped in a vice like grip of this petite little woman...

He opened his eyes and saw her staring back at him.  Her eyes aglow with a eerie light, and, as he felt his life leaving him,  he heard her whispering thoughts in his mind..

“They will know of me now..they will find me now...”

Her hollow dead eyes bored into his brain, and inside his head he screamed in realisation..and the last thought on his mind as he slowly sank to the bottom of the pool was....”Lyn....Carolyn!...”
