Life and other things that we should really pay attention to
A few moments ago I came across this heartfelt post from a fellow creator's Writco page and be sure to check it out to get a clear view and a better feel of why I decided to write and share this with you.

I had never come across any of Hemmings' work until now when I saw this post and it goes without saying he was such an authentic soul who would speak his mind and was so bold to share his unfiltered feelings and thoughts throughout his writing.

It's so sad to hear this news of his passing. How I wish someone had seen the cues of distress all laced up in most of his poems for instance, "Deathbed" and also "Suicide". Read them just a few moments ago before responding to this and it was clear as day that the departed Hemming was indirectly ringing in for help.

If I'd been here 2 months ago when he posted most of his heartfelt work, I would have tried my best to convince him to look on the brighter side. Life is so precious, no man deserves to die by their own hand.

If we constantly genuinely check up on, reach out to and hear each other out we will be able to comprehend what's really going on, troubleshoot the problems at hand and draw out solutions sooner.

When going through a sad, dark and hopeless phase all we need is someone to ignite and share their light making all the dark spaces in us hopeful and bright once more:
Suicide should never be an option. Truth be told, it never is.

Don't get carried away, many people who you have had encounters with on your social networks are not looking for likes, they are earnestly seeking and yearning for love.

So let us be intentional about how we relate to each other. When in the dark and are somewhat clueless as to what is really going on, pray never to mistake someone's distress signal for help to being some sort of colorful firework display and toast to their slow death by drowning...

If you happen to still have words in this world that has left many dumbstruck - Speak Love, Speak Light, Speak Life!
