Voice of egbira
The call by the social Democratic party (SDP) candidate, Murtala Ajaka for the anti graft agency (EFCC) to arrest the immediate past governor of Kogi state yahaya Bello, has been described as ethnic bigotry.

This is coming from Kogi state indigenes from the central senatorial district, under aegis of Egbira voice of Nigeria.

While giving historic background on the political leadership tussle at a briefing in Abuja, the group said the face-off between EFCC and Yahaya Bello has its root in the ethnic and political relationship that bedevilled kogi state since its creation in 1999.

According to the group, the tussle is affecting development in the state, particularly with the current accusation that governor Usman ododo is harbouring Yahaya Bello.

The Egbira speaking tribe in Kogi state said even when former governor yahaya Bello was yet to be invited by EFCC, some notable politicians from Igala at various times staged protests to the office of the anti-graft office in Abuja.
