The sky was overcast. Lakshmi's mother,Geeta has been actively doing all the arrangements for her daughter's delivery. The family's expecting the arrival of the new baby at any time. Geetha, mother of lakshmi who was called as 'lakshmama' by her neighbours. The neighbour were also attending to the arrangements. Meenakshi her tenant was taking great care of lakshmi and she was the one who was serving her from the day she came to Geetha's home for delivery. Meenakshi was always helpful to her neighbours. When it comes to Geetha her involvement will be more. Because both were schoolmates. They both use to chit-chat about their school days during their leasure times. A sudden silence prevailed in the house. All the members of the family were in tention. Many ladies entered Lakshmi's room. One bought hot water, one bought towels and other one with scissors. like wise all the other experienced women did their part. An hour passed women were moving here and there. All their faces were very stiff no time to relax themselves. A shrill shout arose brought a gret relif to all and made the heartbeats clam and happy. Lakshmi gave birth to a charming boy baby. Geetha and Meenakshi huffed and puffed looking at eachother. It was the moment that everyone waited for 'the cry' occurred and made everyone cry out of joy.
