Ares POV

Something was going on. I could sense it.
Everyone was behaving weird and I felt like something was going on behind my back.

I could hear that the program had started already, there was loud cheers and screams. It was nothing new for me. I have been experiencing this for almost two years now and this is how it always was.

It wouldn't be of any surprise if a fight broke out during the event and someone's nose broke. It was very common in these college events and we seniors had stopped taking part in these events for quite a while now. We had better things to do rather than sing, dance around and bully the junior students. I only agreed to come to the event for Indu. To make sure that no one bothered her during the event.

As soon as myself and Ryan entered the hall I could see that everyone went quiet.
"They better be. " I thought to myself grinning. They dare not make the mistake of not showing respect towards us.

Ryan ushered me to the front seat. I could see that two seats were already booked for us. I looked at Ryan rolling my eyes.
"What was going on!? " We usually threw people and took their seats. This was very new and I knew Ryan would definitely not have done such a thing on his own.
I sat on the chair and looked at the stage in an uninterested manner. I really was not interested in these things now.

A girl was hosting the function. She was speaking something which did not hold my attention. I could hear the crowd shouting and cheering. I got my phone out and was immersed in it.

A dance performance was going on. Two groups of teams had finished their performance and then I heard the host introducing the third team.

"Guys.. Next on stage you are gonna see a performance by the freshers. Do give a warm round of applause for Team...
